Custom Shower Doors in Somerset County, NJ
Frameless, sliding and custom glass shower doors for Somerset County homes, measured on site and installed by our own team.
Somerset County custom shower doors
Somerset County is a short drive from our base in Chester. We design, fabricate and install custom frameless shower doors, sliding doors and tub glass across the county, from the Somerset Hills to Bridgewater and Hillsborough.
Every job starts with a free laser measurement at your home. We cut the glass to your exact opening, then our own team installs it, usually in two to four hours.
Somerset homes range from historic estates to newer subdivisions, so no two bathrooms are alike. That’s why we don’t sell stock sizes: each door is made for one opening.

Shower glass for Somerset County homes
Somerset Hills estates
Bernardsville, Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone and Bedminster have many large homes with big primary baths. These often call for floor-to-ceiling glass, a steam enclosure with a transom, or a wide walk-in panel in 1/2″ glass. Heavy doors hang on heavy-duty hinges, some rated for doors about 40″ wide and 145 lb.
Basking Ridge and Warren colonials
A typical family home here has a hall bath with a tub and a primary bath with a stall shower. A sliding tub door or a bath screen suits the hall bath. The primary shower usually gets a door and panel or a 90° corner.
Bridgewater and Hillsborough subdivisions
Many homes here still have their original framed doors. Swapping one for frameless glass takes one measurement visit and one installation visit.

Custom Fabrication
Your glass is custom cut and tempered to fit your space perfectly, usually in 7–10 business days.
Installation
Professional installation, typically 2–4 hours, with final adjustments and cleanup.
Before we measure
- Finish the tile, stone and shower valve trim first. Tempered glass can’t be cut or drilled once it’s made, so we measure the finished surfaces.
- Planning a steam shower? Talk to us before the ceiling is tiled, so the glass, transom and any ceiling slope are planned together.
- Ask your contractor for solid backing in the wall where the hinges go. A heavy glass door needs more than tile and backer board behind its hinges.

More New Jersey areas
Do you install in Bernardsville, Far Hills and Basking Ridge?
Yes. Our base is in Chester, a short drive from Bernardsville, Far Hills, Peapack-Gladstone and Basking Ridge. The measurement is free anywhere in the county.
Can you build a steam shower enclosure?
Yes. Steam glass runs to the ceiling, often with a transom over the door that can open to vent. We plan the transom, seals and hinges with your contractor around the steam generator. See steam shower enclosures.
Is 1/2″ glass worth it?
For most doors and panels, 3/8″ glass works well. Once an unsupported fixed panel gets wider than about 32″, or the glass runs floor to ceiling, 1/2″ glass is stiffer and feels more solid. We recommend it at the measurement when the size calls for it.
Can you replace an old framed door?
Yes. We take out the old door, then check the walls and curb for screw holes or damage before we measure.
Do you work with Somerset County builders and designers?
Yes. We measure once the tile is finished, help pick the glass and hardware, and set the install date around the contractor’s schedule.
How much does a custom shower door cost in Somerset County?
Glass and hardware start at $721 for a single door and $1,042 for a door with a fixed panel, and installation starts at $450. Corner, neo-angle and larger doors cost more. See prices by layout or get your exact price with our instant quote.
How long does it take?
After a free on-site measurement your glass is fabricated in about 7–10 business days. Installation usually takes 2–4 hours.
What is the difference between framed and frameless shower doors?
Framed shower doors have metal or plastic framing around the glass. Frameless doors have no visible frames, offering a more modern, open look, and use thicker, stronger glass for support.
